In the past, I’ve told couples with $4000 or less to spend on a wedding planner to DIY it, then hire a day of coordinator. It’s not ideal because you’re left with a whole new project management job that you don’t get to hand off until 30 days before the wedding. But I recommended this because most wedding planning companies charge $6000 or more to plan weddings. I used to do this too. As soon as you pay your wedding planning deposit, you get access to your intake form where you answer a few questions allowing us to get started on finding your perfect venue in your budget. We’ll send a few options, ranked and with details to consider within 5 business days or less.
Once your venue is booked, you’ll complete a second questionnaire to let us know a few more preferences, and within 5 business days you’ll receive your complete wedding architecture
- A complete vendor recommendation list – with multiple options per category within your budget and that meet your style and needs along with the packages/number of hours/staff needed for your day.
- A detailed wedding day timeline covering hair and makeup through venue cleanup, to show how the day will flow and so you can see how our recommended vendor packages fit in your wedding day
- A complete wedding planning dashboard complete with tasks for the remainder of your wedding planning journey
- You also will have unlimited email support, and access to 2 Zoom calls every month
Once your vendors are booked, you’ll complete one final form, sharing your final nuanced wedding preferences, and anything you changed your mind on. We will refine your wedding day timeline, final details task-list and draft custom emails to your vendors reconfirming details and letting them know what changes are need if any.
Your day of coordination team will lead your final wedding walkthrough (usually 21-45 days prior to your wedding), your wedding rehearsal and your wedding day.
